Die Wahl der richtigen Mengenangaben
Als Antworten auf die Fragen How much? und How many? funktionieren manche Mengenangaben nur mit zählbaren Nomen (friends, cups, people), manche Mengenangaben nur mit unzählbaren Nomen (sugar, tea, money), und manche Mengenangaben funktionieren mit allen Nomen.

Die Verwendung von Much & Many
Much und many werden in negativen Sätzen und Fragesätzen benützt. Sie werden oft auch mit too & so sowohl in Aussagesätzen als auch in Fragesätzen benutzt. Beachten Sie, dass many in Aussagesätzen benutzt werden kann, much jedoch nicht. Much wird in Aussagesätzen ersetzt durch a lot of oder lots of (many kann ebenso ersetzt werden).
